This mixed use project calls for the development of residential units varying in configurations from studio apartments to executive scale residences, commercial offices and retail space, and open space uses in the courtyards and plazas. To create a community feeling between the two structures, they are visually connected by vibrant and active plazas. Through the development of a courtyard feature, each building offers commercial and residential units the benefit of exterior wall space.
As a whole, the development’s form complimentary ties into the existing fabric of the surrounding community.
Despite the bucolic depiction of the illustrations, the site is in an area of LA that bustles with pedestrian and vehicular traffic. Lincoln Plaza will provide the stimulus for redevelopment in the area.
